Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals for the Yuba City, CA program. The role involves assisting individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans, and promoting wellbeing in multiple settings. Immediate hiring and 2nd shift availability.

Pay ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $26 after RBT certification. Requires high school diploma or GED and relevant certifications; 18+ and valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification-Registered Behavior Technician or licensed psychiatric technician; or become a registered behavior technician within twelve months of initial employment.
• DSP 1 and DSP 2 Certification – Required within 12 months of hire. RBT/DSP1/DSP2 must be completed within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct care and implementation of behavior plans.
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings including community, family or individual homes and generic community settings.
• Promote health, safety, dignity and contentment for every consumer served by assisting and training individuals in personal care, communication, and social skill development.
