Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team at our program in Antioch, CA. DSPs provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping with personal care, communication and social skills.

The ideal candidate will be at least 18, have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and six months of direct care experience. Earn $26-28 per hour, with increases after obtaining the RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or GED.
• Dual Diagnose experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Six months of direct care experience with developmental disabilities.
• Commit to completing DSP 1 & 2 and RBT within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with personal care, communication and social skills development.
• Implement behavior plans and monitor progress in various settings.
• Support health, safety, and dignity of every consumer served.
