Job summary

Butler Plus in Texas is seeking energetic individuals for the evening doorstep trash and recycling collection across multifamily communities. You’ll be the face of our nightly service, using your own open-bed pickup truck at many properties.

No prior experience needed; training provided. You’ll work Sunday through Thursday evenings (8:00 PM start, 2–3 hours) to ensure timely collection and maintain a high standard of resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Own an open bed pickup truck (required at most properties).

Responsibilities

• Ensure nightly doorstep trash/recycling collection during service evenings.
• Collect bagged trash from each resident doorstep using the assigned tote or cart.
• Use the company's field app for timekeeping, check-in/out, and reporting.
• Safely transport collected trash to on-site dumpsters, compactors or chute rooms.
• Perform additional services as needed (porter, bulk item hauling, pressure washing, etc.).
• Maintain daily communication with your supervisor/manager to ensure workflow.
• Work quietly to minimize disturbances to residents.

• Lift up to 25 lbs.; climb stairs; work outdoors in varying weather.
• Own an open-bed pickup truck and a valid driver’s license; have a smartphone for the app.
