Hearts Thrift Stores is seeking a dependable Donation Processor & Receiver to join our Niagara Falls team. This active, hands-on role involves receiving donations, sorting and pricing merchandise, and preparing items for the sales floor while providing friendly donor service.

The position requires reliability, ability to work Monday–Saturday evenings and at least two Saturdays per month, and staying active in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates will be reliable and punctual with flexible schedules.
• Must be able to work Monday–Saturday evenings and at least two Saturdays per month.
• Ability to stay organized, handle multiple tasks, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service and communication skills are essential; stand and stay active for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process donations from community members.
• Greet donors and provide friendly customer service.
• Assist donors with unloading donations and issuing receipts.
• Sort, price, and organize donated items for the sales floor.
• Screen donations according to guidelines and identify quality merchandise.
• Work with volunteers and provide clear direction as needed.
• Manage inventory and report supply needs.
