Responsibilities

• Actively manage daily loading and receiving of product.
• Ensure FIFO and other prescribed procedures are followed.
• Assist Manager in controlling labor cost through planning, scheduling and on‑the‑job training.
• Monitor productivity standards by analyzing metrics around KPIs.
• Recommend and implement ways to improve performance.
• Monitor sanitation tasks daily, weekly and monthly to follow the schedule.
• Supervise distribution team, hold regular meetings and assist with performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate and complete departmental records.
• Maintain an organized, efficient, and sanitary warehouse and loading dock area.
• Perform duties of Distribution Manager in the Manager’s absence.
• Ensure compliance with PJFS safety, sanitation and HACCP policies and all applicable laws.
