Job summary

Thistle is seeking a motivated Associate, Dishwasher in Vacaville, CA for the PM shift. You will wash wares and equipment, maintain a clean dish room, and ensure sanitation and safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced kitchen.

Reporting to the Culinary Supervisor, you will support the kitchen team by keeping materials and equipment ready, following SOPs, and assisting with occasional cook duties as needed. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a large-scale dish machine and 3-compartment sink.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized dish area.
• Comfort with following GMP, safety, and COVID guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine and 3-compartment sink to clean wares and equipment.
• Maintain sanitation and organization of the dish room.
• Follow guidance from culinary leadership to ensure supplies and equipment are ready for use.
• Log sanitation activities and temperature checks as required.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as needed by the culinary team.
