Job summary

The Legend Clubs is seeking a Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will maintain cleanliness and efficiency in the dish room, ensuring timely washing and safe handling of dishes and utensils. Your role supports the Sous and Executive Chef during service, helping sustain a positive guest experience.

Candidates with any age are welcome; prior kitchen experience is beneficial but not required. On-the-job training is provided to help you learn our procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively and listen well.
• Stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Non-slip shoes required for safety.
• On-the-job training provided; prior kitchen experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes in a timely manner.
• Soak and scrub dishes requiring heavy cleaning.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization.
• Practice safe knife handling; seek training if needed.
• Load dishes into the dishwasher efficiently and return them to proper places.
• Assist with trash removal and kitchen cleanliness.
• Support other food preparation tasks as directed by the Sous or Exec Chef.
• Open and close the kitchen according to established checklists.
