Job summary

Heirloom Restaurant Group is seeking an evening dishwasher for Five Star BBQ, with four shifts per week from 3:30 pm to close. You will operate dishwashing equipment, maintain cleanliness, and support kitchen staff to ensure a steady flow of clean dishes.

The role requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Benefits include free meals and PTO for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and handwash in three-compartment sink to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items.
• Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Sort and organize cleaned dishes and utensils in designated storage areas.
• Ensure proper storage practices to maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen.
• Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and servers to manage the flow of dirty and clean dishes.
• Support kitchen staff by keeping work areas clean and sanitized.
• Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste following proper procedures.
• Keep dishwashing equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Report any issues with equipment functionality to the manager.
