Job summary

Valparaiso Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time dishwasher for evening shifts to support our dining services. You will join the ASC Culinary team, bringing a positive attitude to enhance residents’ dining experience.

You will partner with culinary leaders, take meal orders as residents are seated, assist in meal preparation, buss tables and wash dishes, and maintain a clean dining room and kitchen area.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service and helping others.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience.
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
• Take resident meal orders as they are seated.
• Assist in preparation of meal items.
• Bus tables and wash dishes.
• Keep dining room and kitchen area clean.
