Job summary

American Senior Communities in Valparaiso is seeking a part-time Dishwasher for evening shifts to support the ASC culinary team and ensure a positive dining experience for residents and families.

Responsibilities include taking orders, assisting with meal prep, bussing and dishwashing, and keeping the dining room and kitchen clean. Preferred candidates have a GED/HS diploma and prior server experience. Benefits vary by status.

Qualifications

• Must have a commitment to customer service and helping others.
• Preferred: high school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Preferred: prior restaurant server experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
• Take resident meal orders as they are seated.
• Assist in preparation of meal items.
• Buss tables and wash dishes.
• Maintain dining room and kitchen area in clean condition.
