Direct Support Professional for AHRC Nassau in Glen Cove (New Woods location) is sought to support individuals in Community Living Services. The Saturday shift, 3pm–11pm, totals 8 hours per week and starts at $14.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, promoting quality of life, safety and well-being, and aiding self-care, health, and socialization as part of the agency's mission.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid NYS driver's license and maintain status.
• Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives.

Responsabilidades

• Practice and promote the agency's mission statement and guiding principles in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to the people that live in the Community Living Services program to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.
• Provide support in self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being.
