Job summary

Brookville Center for Children's Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the AHRC Glen Cove Dalex location (Thu–Sat, 11p–9a), 30 hours per week. Compensation starts at $14.00 per hour and varies with experience.

Role involves supporting residents in daily living, health, safety, and routines, while upholding the agency’s mission and ensuring quality of life in a structured community setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must submit a valid NYS driver's license, and maintain a qualified driver status throughout employment.
• Must have the ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information

Responsibilities

• Promote the agency’s mission in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to residents in the Community Living Services program to ensure a high quality of life.
• Support self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being
