Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the 2nd shift in Columbia, SC. This non-exempt role supports individuals with developmental disabilities in residential settings, following individualized plans and ensuring health, safety and daily living activities.

You will document progress, assist with transportation, medications when assigned, and help with personal care, community integration and daily living tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SC driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support per individualized plans, including health maintenance and social development.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, housekeeping, transportation, recreation and community integration.
• Document progress and maintain confidentiality; adhere to safety policies.
