Job summary

Friendly Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Dining Supervisor for the Evening shift (12:30-8:30PM) with rotating weekend availability. You will lead Dining Services Associates, ensure safe, sanitary, and timely service, and collaborate with management to maintain high standards of guest experience.

The role emphasizes staff training, adherence to safety guidelines, and proactive communication with the Executive Chef and Director to optimize dining operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School education minimum; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience: Food service experience and knowledge of food safety standards.
• Skills: Ability to read, write, and do simple math; organize and multitask.
• Licenses/ Certifications: Serv-Safe and/or County Sanitation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lunch tray line operation, lunch cleanup, and restocking for dinner.
• Use Diet Software to print tickets and view member profiles.
• Monitor evening staffing to ensure efficient tray line operations.
• Record temperatures of walk-in coolers, refrigerators, and freezers on logs.
