Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Manteca, CA, is seeking a Server for our community dining room. You will deliver friendly, professional service to our senior residents during meals and events, ensuring dietary needs are met and creating a welcoming dining atmosphere.

This role offers flexible shifts, growth opportunities, and the support of a team that values care, teamwork, and high service standards. Prior hospitality or customer service experience is a plus; a Food Handler Card is a plus.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• A Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet residents' dietary requirements and preferences, including portions and special requests.
• Serve meals with a smile to ensure a welcoming experience for all residents.
• Set tables with linens, utensils, and glassware before meals.
• Clear tables promptly after meals and maintain cleanliness.
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Relay resident feedback to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in line with Cogir standards.
• Adhere to local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
