Qualifications

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Experience serving tables in a hotel, restaurant, or fine dining setting desirable.
• Ability to interpret and explain the menu and assist residents in choices.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking skills and basic arithmetic.
• Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and resident-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for resident interactions in the dining room.
• Prepare dining tables with cleanliness and organization.
• Attend to residents as they arrive in the dining area.
• Present menus and assist residents in choosing food and beverages.
• Take orders, communicate with kitchen staff, and ensure correct service.
• Deliver and serve items promptly and verify residents receive their meals.
• Clean and sanitize production areas and surfaces according to procedures.
• Assist in transporting food between kitchen and dining or rooms.
