Job summary

True Connection Communities in Raleigh, NC, is actively seeking a Part Time Server to deliver warm, attentive dining service to residents and guests. You will take orders, relay them to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages while maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area.

The role requires availability 3:30–7:30pm on weekdays and some weekends. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Excellent listening skills and detail oriented.
• Able to ask appropriate questions to deliver the best service possible.
• Experience in a hospitality, healthcare or service environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers.
• Takes food and drink orders from customers and answers questions about menu items.
• Relays customers’ orders to other kitchen staff.
• Serves food and drinks to customers.
• Cleans assigned work areas, such as dining tables or serving counters.
• Stocks service stations, cabinets, and tables.
• Sets tables or prepare foodstations for new customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
