Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in a food service supervisory capacity; at least one (1) year in hotel/restaurant/cafeteria/catering operations.
• Experience as a bartender or in a role that included preparing and serving alcoholic beverages.
• Incumbents must be certified as food handlers within six (6) months of the appointment start date (e.g., ServSafe).
• Knowledge of large-scale food service operations and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operation of dining and bar service areas to ensure efficient customer service.
• Supervises staff, cash handling, inventory, and recordkeeping; manages opening and closing procedures.
• Assists in planning special events such as banquets and conferences within assigned units.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and alcohol service regulations and maintains smooth production and serving schedules.
