The Imagine Group in Grayslake, IL is seeking a Digital Finishing Technician to perform finishing and bindery steps required to complete orders efficiently according to Imagine standards. The role involves operating laser, Zund, laminator, and other finishing equipment to prepare products for shipping.

You will review job tickets, set up machinery, monitor quality, perform basic preventive maintenance, and help maintain a safe, organized workspace in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 4+ years in printing/manufacturing or as a temporary employee with manager approval to hire full-time.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• Able to read and understand job tickets.

Responsabilités

• Review and understand all job ticket information.
• Set up and adjust finishing equipment.
• Cut product to final size/shape by operating finishing equipment.
• Monitor output quality and report issues.
• Meet productivity and quality standards.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on finishing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Router.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to address opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain a 5s in the Digital area.
• Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
