Job summary

Imagine Group is hiring a Digital Finishing Technician in Grayslake, IL to perform finishing and bindery steps for orders per Imagine standards. The role covers laser table, CNC, Router, Zund, laminator, and related equipment in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, verifying tickets, maintaining quality, and supporting safety and continuous improvement across the team. Shift is 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, four years relevant industry experience or experience as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager approval to hire full-time.
Previous CNC operation, digital finishing, router, print production, and/or bindery experience preferred.
Experience using an ERP system.

Responsibilities

Review and understand all job ticket information.
Set up, adjust and operate Router, CNC, Zund, and other finishing equipment according to procedures.
Operate CNC machines and routers, cut product to final size or shape.
Monitor output quality and collect data for job tracking; report issues.
Meet productivity and quality standards in a timely, accurate manner.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on finishing equipment.
Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Router and CNC equipment.
Maintain safety by keeping the area clean and organized.
