The Imagine Group is hiring a Digital Finishing Technician in Grayslake, IL. The role involves operating Router, CNC, Zund and other finishing equipment to complete orders in line with our standards.

The position requires strong attention to detail, basic math and measuring skills, and the ability to read job tickets. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, monitoring output quality, performing basic preventative maintenance, and collaborating with the Production Manager on process

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required, plus 4 years in finishing/print-related work or temp-to-hire with manager approval.
• Experience with CNC, digital finishing, router, print production or bindery preferred.
• Experience using an ERP system is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Review and understand all job ticket information.
• Set up, adjust and operate Router, CNC, Zund and other finishing equipment.
• Operate CNC machine and Router equipment per procedures.
• Complete equipment setup and adjustments as needed.
• Cut product to final size/shape using finishing equipment.
• Monitor output quality and report issues.
• Meet productivity and quality standards in timely, accurate manner.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on finishing equipment.
• Troubleshoot Router and CNC equipment and perform maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain 5S in the Digital area.
• Work independently and in a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Handle materials with forklift/pallet jacks if needed.
• Work overtime as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
