Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Healthcare or food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipes.
• Serve meals and beverages to residents promptly and courteously.
• Follow dietary restrictions and document special needs.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen by following safety protocols.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Check and store supplies; report shortages.
• Engage with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Collaborate with dietary staff, nurses, and caregivers.
• Complete required training and attend meetings.
