Job summary

Lions Gate is seeking a Dietary Aide – Part Time to support our dietary department and ensure residents receive nutritious meals. The schedule is 4pm to close (8pm) with pay range of $16.00–$16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting in meal prep and service, maintaining dining areas, and following food safety guidelines. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and basic food service experience; strong teamwork and communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry-level experience in a dietary or food service setting preferred.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and restrictions.
• Set up dining areas and assist residents with meal service.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dietary staff, residents, and their families.
