Job summary

Allure Healthcare Services is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our residential dining program in Mount Morris, Illinois. The role focuses on assisting with meal preparation, serving, and snack delivery while following planned menus and dietary orders.

You will help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area, perform dishwashing, and support residents with meals and snacks in a compassionate, patient manner.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain the care & use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing food practices.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes & special diet orders.
• Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean & safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment & supplies are maintained.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures assuring that utensils, etc., are readily available for next meal.
• Prepare & deliver snacks, etc., as instructed. Deliver food carts, trays to designated areas. Serve food and drinks in the dining room as instructed.
