Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and ensure sanitation and safety in food service areas.
• Must possess patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when interacting with residents.
• Must be willing to adapt to new methods and practices in food service.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals according to planned menus with standardized recipes and special diets.
• Maintain a clean and safe department; ensure equipment and supplies are in good condition.
• Perform dishwashing and cleaning tasks; ensure utensils are ready for next meal.
