Job summary

St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL seeks a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound scans for radiologists, assisting with image quality and patient care across adult and pediatric patients.

The role is full-time evening shift within Radiology, offering a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and compensation aligned with experience. ARDMS/RT(S) eligibility and BLS are required or must be obtained within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of, or currently enrolled in, an allied health program is required.
• Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients to radiologists using ultrasound equipment per physician orders and procedures.
• Surveys and assesses anatomy and pathophysiology in adult and pediatric patients using ultrasound.
