Job summary

St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide X-ray services under the radiologist, appropriately positioning patients and operating imaging equipment.

Education: Bachelor's or Associate degree in Radiology; ARRT RT(R) certification within 12 months; WI DSPS licensure or IL IEMA accreditation; BLS required. 1 year experience preferred. Schedule includes weekends/evenings with full-time hours and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Radiology
• 1 year experience is preferred
• WI: Licensed Radiographer (DSPS) is required
• IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology (IEMA) is required
• ARRT RT(R) certification (within 12 months) is required
• BLS is required

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the radiologist, provides X-ray services to patient.
• Closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested.
