Qualifications

• Performs clerical duties for the nursing unit including chart maintenance and multi-line phone handling.
• Answers phones and assists customers in a friendly, timely manner.

• Maintains a safe, neat work environment; orders and stocks supplies as needed.
• Prepares documents and records to regulatory standards.
• Adheres to safety, infection control policies and Safe Medication Handling protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties for the nursing unit and supports patient flow.
• Utilizes electronic health records and communication tech effectively.
• Coordinates with nursing, dietary, environmental services and IT teams.
• Maintains room schedules and meeting spaces as required by the unit.
• Assists with data/document audits and reporting per management requests.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the department manager.
