Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking a Field Pharmacy Technician to support long-term care facilities around the Atlanta area, including Sandy Springs, GA. The role requires a GA-licensed Pharmacy Technician with LTC experience.

You will manage ADS, assist with inventory control, and coordinate with facility and pharmacy staff. Ideal candidates have 1 year of pharmacy experience, familiarity with Pyxis or Omnicell, and strong data-entry abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be local to Sandy Springs, GA area.
• Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required.
• One year of pharmacy experience, LTC preferred.
• Experience with Pyxis/Omnicell and data entry preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot ADS problems; good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work independently under supervision.
• Maintain communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.
• Use reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
• Maintain ADS information (quantity and expiration date).
• Identify discrepancies for proper billing.
• Replace expiring inventory.
• Restock depleted inventory.
• Perform monthly audits (cycle counts).
• Provide facility reports.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisor.

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical servicesto long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

NOTICE: SpecialtyRx is seeking Field Pharmacy Technician located in the surrounding areas of Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
• Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.
• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
• Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
• Replace potentially expiring inventory.
• Restock depleted inventory.
• Monthly audits (cycle count).
• Provide reports for the facility.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Important: Must be local to Sandy Springs, Georgia area.
• Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Willing to drive long distances in the State of Georgia.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
