Job summary

City of Iowa City is seeking a part-time maintenance worker to perform cleaning and basic upkeep of City buildings, facilities and grounds under immediate direction. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months related experience or training, a valid Iowa driver’s license, and the ability to pass a criminal background check with FBI fingerprint screening for facility access.

This is a permanent position with evening and weekend hours as listed in the posting; salary is paid

Qualifications

• High school education or GED and 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Valid State of Iowa driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass criminal background check; FBI fingerprint screening will be required for facility access to Iowa City Police Department.
