Kalamazoo Christian Schools is seeking a dependable Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the school community. The role supports our educational mission by keeping classrooms and facilities well-maintained and ready for learning each day.

Open to both Part-Time and Full-Time candidates, with a salary range of $40,000 to $43,000 per year. Reports to the Elementary Principal and offers benefits tied to scheduled hours and eligibility.

Qualifications

• Commitment to Kalamazoo Christian Schools' mission and values.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate custodial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or with a team.
• Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and restock restrooms, clean mirrors, and replenish supplies across campus.
• Vacuum classrooms, offices, entryways, hallways, and the central atrium.
• Inspect and replenish soap, sanitizer, towels; clean staff lounge areas.
• Empty waste receptacles and manage basic custodial tasks; perform light maintenance as needed.
