Job summary

Grand Rapids Building Services Inc is hiring a Custodian Lead for Ionia Public Schools in Ionia, MI. This is a full-time position with Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm shifts, totaling about 40 hours per week.

As Lead, you will supervise the cleaning team, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and use GRBS tools to complete tasks. Nightly perimeter checks are required, and you will report to the GRBS site supervisor.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience is required.
• Must be 18+ with valid ID.
• Reliable transportation to and from work each day.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cleaning team and ensure building cleanliness.
• Execute the clean building process using GRBS tools.
• Perform nightly perimeter door checks.
• Lead, manage, and hold team members accountable.
• Communicate clearly with site staff and supervisors.
