Job summary

Grand Rapids Building Services Inc. is seeking a dependable Custodian for Ionia Public Schools in Michigan.

This full-time evening shift runs 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, performing cleaning tasks including mopping, dusting, restrooms and trash removal while following GRBS procedures and maintaining a safe, respectful work environment. Ideal candidates are 18+ with a valid ID, able to commute, and exhibit teamwork, reliability, and self-motivation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS processes.
• Have mindful communication with respect to all.
• Finish the job to the building map and shift.
• Mop, dust, clean restrooms, remove trash.
