Job summary

Corvallis SD 509J in Corvallis, Oregon, is hiring for an Evening Shift Custodian to provide custodial cleaning services for district buildings and grounds. The role supports safety, cleanliness, and functionality of facilities for students and staff.

Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm, with multiple locations. Starting as soon as possible, the position offers benefits with a regular/probationary status and a 260-work-day calendar.

Qualifications

• Ability to independently organize and carry out work assignments.
• Ability to follow district protocols for building and grounds maintenance and cleaning, including safe handling and use of hazardous cleaning materials and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties to keep facilities clean, safe, and in good repair.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces.
• Assist in setup and maintenance for daily use and events.
• Conduct routine security checks during evening hours.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
