Job summary

Molalla River School District is seeking a Classified Substitute Custodian for on-call coverage across district facilities in Molalla, Oregon. This position has no guaranteed hours, but you can choose the buildings and shifts you wish to cover, including evenings or short-term absences.

Duties include cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas, plus greeting visitors and securing the building after events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Criminal Justice background check/fingerprint clearance (personal cost to selected applicants of $87.50).
• Valid Oregon Driver's License (preferred) to assist with efficiently covering multiple absences when needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas (classrooms, halls, offices, restrooms, cafeteria, kitchen, gymnasium, etc.).
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, empty trash, wipe surfaces, and remove debris outside the building perimeter.
• Greet and direct visitors who have rented facilities for events in the evenings and secure the building upon departure.
