Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. The role involves performing duties from the daily schedule and using motorized cleaning equipment to keep spaces clean and safe.

Applicants should be able to work Monday to Friday from 4PM to 12:30AM, earning $14.50 to $15.50 per hour. No formal education is required, and training is provided; forklift certification may be required for certain tasks.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No specific education requirement

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
