Job summary

The Town of Natick is seeking a dedicated Junior Custodian II/Floater to join the Custodial Team at Kennedy Middle School. You will cover custodial operations, cleaning, event support, and light maintenance in assigned facilities.

This role requires flexibility to work across facilities, with supervision of other staff as needed. Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., full-time, benefits package, and potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class D driver’s license.
• CORI/SORI background checks required.
• Experience in custodial or maintenance is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead custodial operations in assigned building, including routine and emergency cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform cleaning duties (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, window cleaning) and assist with event support.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep (lighting, painting, plumbing, carpentry) as needed.
• Support/supervise temporary staff and coordinate with custodial team.
