Job summary

Pueblo Community College is seeking a Custodian I to maintain a safe and clean environment for students, staff, and visitors. Primary duties include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, using custodial chemicals, and performing floor care.

The role may require evening shifts and occasional travel between PCC locations. Preferred candidates have custodial experience, physical stamina, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of custodial experience.
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor.
• Willing to work different shifts (day and/or night), including holidays if necessary.
• Must provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must possess a current, valid Colorado driverlicense to drive campus vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and clean environment for students, staff and the public.
• Use custodial chemicals in daily tasks.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect restrooms and fixtures.
• Strip, wax and polish hard floors; shampoo carpets as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
