Job summary

CTECS seeks a dependable Custodian to support students, staff and visitors by maintaining classrooms, offices, common areas and outdoor spaces. You will perform routine cleaning, floor care, and report repairs to contribute to a safe and attractive school campus.

This year-round position follows a 2nd shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:15 pm–10:15 pm, with a 37.5 hour work week, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and proactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks in classrooms, offices, auditoriums, kitchens, dining rooms and outdoor areas.
• Dust, mop, sweep, scrub, strip, wax and polish floors; shampoo carpets with appropriate equipment.
• Wash, dust and polish glass, woodwork, walls and furniture; clean and maintain bathrooms and common areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling; report repairs and perform minor maintenance.
• Inspect buildings for damage and report to supervisor.
