Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas in Carrollton, TX. You will perform duties on the daily schedule, handle hazardous waste tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires 3–6 months of training or experience if possible, a professional appearance and conduct, and the ability to work Monday–Friday 4PM–12:30AM. SBM offers benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• No specific education required; 3–6 months of training or experience preferred.
• May require valid driver's license and safety/task training certification; forklift cert may be required.
• Hazardous waste handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fill in during staff shortage.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment.
