Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Cleaner for 2nd shift to perform a variety of custodial duties at our Austin location. Duties include floor care, glass cleaning, restroom restocking, and trash handling, with supervision from Custodial Manager or Supervisor.

Responsibilities include operating floor buffers and shampoo machines, daily cleaning tasks, and reporting any building issues. Prior cleaning experience is not required, but reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Must take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and high energy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces inside buildings.
• Operate floor buffers and shampoo machines (light and heavy).
• Vacuum rugs in offices; spot clean and shampoo rugs as directed; dust furniture and fixtures.
• Wash windowsills and interior/exterior glass; clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Monitor for defects (clogged urinals, lights out) and report to supervisors.
• Collect and replace trash liners; manage waste per specs.
• Perform occasional high-dusting and other duties as assigned.
