Job summary

Yosemite Community College District invites applications for a Custodian at Columbia College. The role performs custodial duties to maintain clean, safe facilities on a routinely scheduled swing shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm) and reports to a Custodian Supervisor or manager.

First-step pay, with progression after a year of service within a multi-building campus. Typical duties include floor care, restroom cleaning, light maintenance, event support, and adherence to safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in cleaning/building maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to perform routine custodial duties and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and clean floors on a routine schedule.
• Clean restrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Move furniture for events and maintenance tasks.
• Replace light bulbs and maintain equipment.
• Assist with campus events and emergency cleanup.
