Job summary

Challenge Unlimited Inc. is seeking a Janitor/Custodian for our Fort McCoy facility in Sparta, WI. The role is full-time with a 4:30pm–12:00am shift and pays $17.75 per hour. You will perform cleaning and maintenance duties to keep the building in a clean and orderly condition.

Ideal candidates may have prior custodial experience; lifting up to 30 lbs is required, and background checks are part of the process. This position offers opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 30 lbs.
• Pass criminal background checks and various state/federal registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel and sweeping and mopping floors.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and stairs; empty trash and replace liners.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture; clean windowsills and windows.
• Clean break rooms and other areas applicable to the contract; operate equipment safely.
• Contribute to teamwork by training and helping co-workers; focus on safety, quality and customer service.
