Job summary

Challenge Unlimited seeks a full-time Janitor (Crew Lead Janitor) for Fort McCoy, Sparta WI, to perform cleaning and maintenance duties and keep the facility in a clean, orderly condition. The role requires a valid driver's license, background checks, and at least 1 year janitorial experience.

Pay is $18.20 per hour, with a day shift from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Join a team that supports people with disabilities and contributes to a safe, healthy work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year janitorial experience.
• High School diploma or GED helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company van.
• Must pass criminal background and state/federal registry checks.
• Must be 21 years or older to drive company van.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restrooms).
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
