Job summary

A-Action Facility Services Inc is seeking a detail-oriented General Cleaner / Custodian to join our team in Baldwin County. The role involves cleaning the Department of Family & Children Services office after 5pm, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom maintenance, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet spot cleaning, and replenishing supplies. The ideal candidate is at least 18, reliable, and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and objects.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and use a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass partitions with appropriate cleaners.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a General Cleaner / Custodian. Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
