Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• One to three years’ prior custodial experience.
• Knowledge of MSDS and chemical handling.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturer warnings.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20-30 pounds repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors with planning and implementation of projects.
• Cover Custodial II and lead positions as needed.
• Determine personnel and equipment allocation for projects.
• Write work procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
• Schedule resources and track progress on special projects.
• Provide technical specs for supplies and equipment.
• Evaluate new processes and procedures.
• Perform daily cleaning when required.
• Operate vehicles legally and safely.
• Climb ladders up to six feet.
• Deliver equipment and materials as requested.
• Maintain safety and security of the building.
• Remove snow and ice from exterior walkways.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
