Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead in Columbus, Ohio. The role directs custodial staff, performs janitorial tasks, and ensures safety and cleanliness of assigned areas. The position runs Monday–Friday, 5:00 pm to 1:30 am, with a pay rate of $16–$17 per hour.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience. CPR/First Aid certification is expected, with forklift certification possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year related custodial or janitorial experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification may be required.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as assigned.
• Follow the daily schedule and perform duties accordingly.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed.
• Assist supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment safely.
• Track equipment inventory and maintenance.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area and inventory.
• Assist in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor PPE usage and correct at-risk behavior.
