Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at 3690 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:00 pm to 1:00 am, weekends included, with online applications accepted only. Prior culinary and management experience is required.

You will direct associates on shift, train staff, create schedules, and ensure policy adherence. You’ll evaluate performance, prepare reports, mentor employees, and handle time-off requests while maintaining safety and quality.

• Ability to train staff and create work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure performance meets policy.
• Provide training and create work schedules for the team.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality and safety.
• Serve as the contact person for employee questions or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and support advancement.
