Job summary

American Senior Communities in Indiana is seeking a Culinary Aide for full-time evening shifts to support residents with meals, ensuring safety, nutrition and a positive dining experience in a compassionate team setting.

You will assist with meal preparation and portions according to menus and diets, set up trays, work with serving staff, wash dishes, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment while aligning with ASC values.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification, if required by authorities

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience
• Assist in meal preparation and portions according to menu and resident diet requirements
• Set up trays and carts for service
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace
