Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks a CT Technologist to perform advanced CT imaging under Radiologist direction, delivering high-quality diagnostic images for neonatal to adult patients. You will help maintain patient flow, image quality, and a positive patient experience across shifts.

The role requires ARRT registration, BLS, and CT registry eligibility or completion within six months. Schedule may include weekends/extended hours at a hospital-based imaging department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate's Degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist credential through the ARRT.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification within six months of hire, if applicable to the role.
• MUST maintain active ARRT/NMTCB status including continuing education and license renewal.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures per protocols and radiologist direction.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for clinical interpretation.
• Support patient safety, comfort, and care during imaging.
• Operate CT scanners and related imaging technologies safely.
• Support efficient patient flow and examination throughput.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per regulatory and departmental standards.
• Maintain licensure, certification, and annual renewal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional communication with patients and radiology teams.
